🌱 Care Instructions
Watering: Keep soil consistently lightly moist. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry, then drain fully. Do not allow soil to dry out completely or sit in standing water. Reduce frequency slightly in winter.
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Tolerates gentle morning sun but avoid harsh direct light, which can scorch fronds. Low light leads to slow growth and fading color.
Humidity: Enjoys higher humidity. In dry rooms, regular misting or nearby plants help prevent brown tips.
Soil: Rich, well-draining indoor mix with added perlite or sand for airflow. Always use a pot with a drainage hole.
Fertilizing: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength. Pause feeding in fall and winter.
Pruning: Remove only fully brown or damaged fronds at the base. Avoid cutting green fronds, as palms regenerate slowly.
Support: Naturally self-supporting. Ensure the pot is stable and weighted to prevent tipping as the plant grows taller.
⚠️ Warning
Toxicity: Non-toxic to pets and children.
Temperature: Ideal range is 18–27 °C. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 10 °C.
Pests: Check for spider mites, especially in dry air. Increase humidity and wipe fronds regularly to prevent infestations.
Leaf care: Mist or wipe fronds regularly to keep them clean and flexible. Brown tips usually indicate low humidity or irregular watering.
