Soil: Fast-draining, gritty mix (quality indoor potting soil blended with perlite/pumice and a little coarse sand). Always use a pot with a drainage hole.

Fertilizing: Feed monthly in spring–summer with a balanced or olive/citrus fertilizer (follow label). Reduce in fall/winter.

Pruning: Light structural trims after a growth flush to maintain an open, airy canopy. Remove crossing shoots; tip-prune to encourage branching.

Support: Young trunks may benefit from a discreet stake and soft ties until fully woody, especially after repotting.
